Making cable television work for you

It starts with your goals and objectives-determining the market demographics and lifestyles of your customers and prospects.

With this as our guide, we search the geo-demographic databases to determine specific areas that will achieve your goals. Using our Claritas/PRIZM software, we map out these areas to give you a clear picture of what markets and TV products to buy.

If cable television is indicated, we match this information against the CTV cable system database to determine the system and networks available and the current spot planning rates.

If broadcast television is indicated, we utilize our historical data and research as well as current Nielsen data to determine the programming that matches your goals.

We get local cable ratings using the Nielsen data tapes (quarter hour ratings) for the demos and networks that match your objectives.

We then prepare a proposal to fit your requirements and submit it for approval. After acceptance we send a confirmation of your order including a final line up. (Revisions are given to you in writing to accept or reject).

Once you've confirmed the buy, CTV negotiates the rates and sends you a contract before placing the order. Make-goods out of daypart/program are submitted for written approval.

You then receive an audited invoice with affidavits attached. CTV audits station and system affidavits for discrepancies and credits are granted for unapproved units. This process takes 5-30 days from end of the broadcast month depending on how many markets are purchased.
